The Hogs earn a trip to a New Year’s Six Bowl Game

The Arkansas football team has been to four New Year’s Six Bowl Games in the last two decades.

The Razorbacks have been to the Cotton Bowl three times (2002, 2008, and 2012) and the Sugar Bowl once (2011) during that time span.

The Hogs went to the Outback Bowl in January, pulling off a big win over Penn State. But, in 2022, they will be primed to go to a prestigious bowl.

Here’s when next season’s New Year’s Six Bowl Games are set to take place.

  • Orange Bowl: December 30, 2022
  • Fiesta Bowl: December 31, 2022
  • Peach Bowl: December 31, 2022
  • Sugar Bowl: December 31, 2022
  • Rose Bowl: January 2, 2023
  • Cotton Bowl: January 2, 2023

Arkansas, with quality wins over teams like Cincinnati, Texas A&M, and Alabama can catapult to the top of the SEC and garner an invite to one of the top college football bowl games at the end of the season.

It’s tough to say which bowl the Hogs might land in without knowing how the rest of the conference shakes out, but if the team can get to nine wins in the regular season, they’ve got a decent shot at one of these six major bowl games.
