Things don’t get any easier the following week as Arkansas will have to face off against Lane Kiffin at home.

The Portal King comes to town with his team of transfers and Jaxson Dart will be a nice replacement for Matt Corral and he’ll have Zach Evans in the backfield behind him and Michael Trigg at tight end. This offense won’t skip a beat despite losing one of the program’s best quarterbacks ever.

Ole Miss marches into Fayetteville and steals a big win.

Prediction: Loss (7-4, 3-4)

Missouri is a mystery team heading into the 2022 season with Connor Bazelak transferring to Indiana and Eli Drinkwitz potentially on the hot seat.

That’s why I think Arkansas will have the upper hand here even though it will be on the road. I’m not sure this will be a resounding win for the Razorbacks, but they will assert themselves here and win by a touchdown. Ending the season 8-4 isn’t a letdown, but it’ll leave more to be desired in 2023.

Prediction: Win (8-4, 4-4)
