Games 9-11

Week 9 Rutgers Scarlet Knights Oct. 29 Minneapolis, MN

This will be a bounce-back week for Minnesota as they play host to Rutgers. This game is a return to smash-mouth football as the Minnesota weather inches closer to winter and the Gophers get back on track and coast to a 31-17 win.

Prediction: Win (6-2, 3-2 Big Ten)

Week 10 @ Nebraska Cornhuskers Nov. 5 Lincoln, NE

The Gophers travel to Lincoln to face off against Nebraska. The Gophers have won three straight in this series, and despite the hype, Nebraska will struggle again this season. With Scott Frost in must-win mode, the Gophers will still emerge victorious, coming out on top 27-23.

Prediction: Win (7-2, 4-2 Big Ten)

Week 11 Northwestern Wildcats Nov. 11 Minneapolis, MN

The hype starts to build in Minneapolis now, as the Gophers will be in a spot where if they win out they will win the division. The offense clicks on all cylinders here against Northwestern, a game in which the Gophers will win easily and get the hype train rolling full steam ahead. Gophers win 34-12.

Prediction: Win (8-2, 5-2 Big Ten)
