Alabama wins both titles
Most college football fans and pundits believe there are three true national title contenders in 2022: Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State.
Georgia suffered a bunch of losses to its all-time great defense. However, it’s not like the defense is void of talent and with the way the Bulldogs have recruited, they will be fine. Better than fine actually because Kirby Smart is as elite on that side of the ball as they come.
Stetson Bennett isn’t Bryce Young though. I know that was the debate last season, but Alabama didn’t have its weapons in the title game and Georgia’s defense was the X-factor.
It won’t be quite as good and there’s a strong argument to be made that Alabama’s will be better. That’s why the Crimson Tide will win the SEC title, go undefeated and win the national title.
