Kentucky is one of those teams that I truly believe may be just slightly overrated this season even though it is coming off a 10-win season.

Will Levis returns at quarterback, but Jaxson Dart is going to win this duel on the first day of October. He’s going to take it to the Wildcats’ defense and put up over 300 yards, really putting himself on an early-season Heisman watch.

Ole Miss escapes with a tight win in Oxford to kick off SEC play.

Prediction: Win (5-0, 1-0 SEC)

After a tough, emotional win over Kentucky in Oxford, Ole Miss will hit the road for its first conference game away from home. But because it’s against Vanderbilt, it’s almost like a bye week.
All jokes aside, Clark Lea won’t have Vanderbilt competitive just quite yet and the Commodores will be a punching bag in the SEC for another year, at least.

Ole Miss might score 50 here and win by 20-plus. I just don’t see Vanderbilt putting up much of a fight.

Prediction: Win (6-0, 2-0)
