Jimbo Fisher is more than hopeful that his team will finally take that next step this year and make the College Football Playoff. And I think that’s a legit possibility.

Texas A&M will have a much better situation at quarterback and on offense as a whole and the defense is absolutely loaded, especially up front. This team is going to push for a playoff spot.

Ole Miss is going to fall just short on the road, stumbling in its second straight game as Lane Kiffin will be left looking for answers.

Prediction: Loss (7-2, 3-2)

I really think Ole Miss could pull off this upset but I don’t see the Tide losing a single regular-season game this year. Out of all their games, however, I do think that this one will be the most competitive and it’ll have the Tide on the ropes.

Alabama is going to need a last-second field goal to take down the Rebels in Oxford and Ole Miss fans will always be thinking ‘what if?’ following the loss.

Three losses in a row eliminate the Rebels from playoff, SEC title, and potentially New Year’s Six contention.

Prediction: Loss (7-3, 3-3)
