2. Pitt Panthers

I may be called a Pitt hater for this pick, but I’m just not buying any stock in the Panthers this season despite the addition of Kedon Slovis.

I do believe Slovis will be a nice replacement for Kenny Pickett, but with a new offensive coordinator in town, will we see the quarterback who had a turnover problem like he had in his final year with the Trojans? Heck, in his last two years with USC, he had 28 touchdown passes and 15 interceptions which isn’t exactly the best ratio out there.

Also, losing Jordan Addison is going to hurt massively.

Let’s say Slovis struggles or continues to suffer through injuries like he did in his final two years at USC, will the Panthers have a capable passer to replace him? I just don’t think so.

Pat Narduzzi has been an average coach throughout his career but he wins one ACC title with Clemson down and everyone jumps on the bandwagon? Not so fast.
