Week 1 brings us a near-full slate of Big Ten football with all but one team in action Thursday through Saturday. Who tops this week’s power rankings?

The college football season finally kicked off this past week with a small slate of Week 0 games. There were three Big Ten teams in action, including the game of the day pitting Northwestern and Nebraska from Dublin, Ireland.

Week 1 really kicks off the season with all but one conference team in action. There are Big Ten teams playing on Thursday through Saturday culminating in the biggest matchup of the week as fifth-ranked Notre Dame travels to Columbus to take on the second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes.

After a busy offseason with the conference realignment bombshell additions of USC and UCLA, it is nice to finally get back to playing some games. There are a lot of questions for the conference heading into the season.

Can any team keep Ohio State from running the table? What will Michigan do for an encore after winning the conference a year ago? What will happen in what looks like a wide-open race for the Big Ten West?

It is sure to be another great season in the Big Ten with a ton of storylines to discuss. Here are the Week 1 power rankings.
