The college football Week 1 TV schedule is a fantastic cornucopia of football to truly kick off the season. Here’s how to binge-watch all the games this week.

Finally.

College football has come back to our TV screens.

After what turned out to be a rather dismal Week 0, filled with rain delays and uncompetitive football – save for one, specific Irish contest – the schedule now turns to the first true week of the season.

Sometimes, week one can be hit-or-miss. This slate, though, is a hit. There’s a top-five matchup to close the evening out, as Notre Dame goes to Columbus to take on Ohio State. Meanwhile, other top-end matchups include Georgia-Oregon, Utah-Florida, and Cincinnati-Arkansas. All of those games promise to be big time.

This slate also has a sandwich of games that bookend the Saturday slate. While the Thursday and Friday slates offer Penn State-Purdue and Central Michigan-Oklahoma State as the only real games that someone would want to watch, Sunday has Florida State and LSU playing in the Superdome. That game could be a close one.

Meanwhile, Labor Day itself has a very middling game with a wounded Georgia Tech team taking on a fearsome Clemson defense.

Without further delay, here’s the college football Week 1 TV schedule.
