SEC Football: Best games week-by-week in the 2022 season

Week 8: Ole Miss at LSU
Ole Miss and LSU are both replacing a quarterback- though one is replacing a historically good starter and the other isn’t. Neither has announced a starter and so who knows what and who we will be seeing by Week 8, but this is going to be an interesting matchup for just that reason.
Neither team is going to be at the top of the conference, but they could easily be mid-tier and to do so, this is a must-win game for both teams.
Honorable Mention: Vanderbilt at Missouri
Everyone should be included and there aren’t very many games in Week 8 to choose from, so here we are going with Vanderbilt and Missouri for the honorable mention. Vanderbilt just put up 63 off the mainland against Hawaii, so this team could be winning more than two games this year and Missouri, well we will see.
Week 9: Florida vs. Georgia
The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party? Yes, please. Florida has a bunch of question marks while Georgia is coming off a national title, but this game is always a lot of fun and I don’t think that is going to change due to one team being on the uptick and the other on a downward slope. Crazier things have happened than an upset over a national title favorite. Stetson Bennett and Anthony Richardson will be ready, are you?
Honorable Mention: Ole Miss at Texas A&M
Texas A&M beat Alabama last year but were blown out by Ole Miss. The revenge tour against the Mississippi schools continues in Oxford for them. This one being at Kyle is a big deal for the Ags as well as they have gotten much better at playing at home since Jimbo Fisher came into the picture. For Ole Miss, Lane Kiffin has them playing at a high level, but that was also with Matt Corrall at the quarterback position. How does Kiffin handle a new quarterback? Can he find a way to win 10 games again?
