Week 10: Florida at Texas A&M

Florida has a bunch of question marks, but Anthony Richardson is pretty good it would seem and the Aggies have Haynes King who should be just as good as Richardson. This matchup was one that many have been looking forward to since the last-second victory for the Ags in 2020.

However, now these are two teams that are on different kinds of paths. Florida is rebuilding and A&M is in put up or shut up mode at this point. This is a game that both teams really want as a win on their schedule in 2022, one to show they can handle big games and the other to show they are ready to be a top team in the conference.

Honorable Mention: Alabama at LSU

Alabama is on a revenge tour of sorts after losing two games last year — one to Texas A&M and one to Georgia in the title game. LSU is trying to figure things out with a new coach who has proven himself, but not in the SEC. While Brian Kelly was successful at Notre Dame, he was consistently beaten down by SEC teams when he made it to the big time. Can he compete in the conference now or will the Tide roll over him and his new team?

Week 11: Alabama at Ole Miss

This was a big one last year, but things are different now. Alabama, as I said before, is ready for war. Ole Miss is replacing a star quarterback in Matt Corrall. This game doesn’t have the same razzle-dazzle so to speak, but I think that this is going to be a good one no matter what. I think Lane Kiffin and Nick Saban going at it will always be a strong matchup and you should tune in no matter what.

Honorable Mention: LSU at Arkansas

LSU and Arkansas are an interesting matchup. Normally, I’d pick the Tigers and move on. However, the Razorbacks have something brewing this year with KJ Jefferson at quarterback. Things are looking up in Fayetteville and I think that this will be a great game that could have SEC West placement implications. Could Arkansas finish in the top three if they win this one? You never know, crazier things have happened y’all.
