Arkansas TE Trey Knox will continue his hot streak against the Gamecocks

Speaking of revamped receiving corp, Arkansas has already benefited greatly from Trey Knox converting from wide receiver to tight end.

He made the switch during the 2021 season but didn’t get as much action as a former four-star recruit normally would. He was still raw and had to learn everything that entails being a tight end.

With a full offseason under his belt and confidence at an all-time high, Knox ended up being a huge x-factor last week. The 6’5,” 245-pound native of Murfreesboro, Tenn. ended up catching more passes than any other Razorback in Week 1.

Knox pulled in 6 receptions for 75 yards and 2 TDs vs Cincinnati.

I think he’s just scratching the surface of his potential and the role he can play in this Arkansas offense. He’s going to keep his Week 1 momentum going and have another big game in Week 2.

He’s already halfway there to his total production from the 2021 season in which he recorded 20 receptions for 141 yards and 1 TD. He very well may eclipse his entire 2021 totals after this game against South Carolina.

Things are looking up for Trey Knox and this Razorback offense.
