What a difference a year makes, right? USC looked hapless under Clay Helton just a season ago and now with Lincoln Riley at the helm, the Trojans are putting up some serious numbers and dominating Pac-12 opponents.
Going to Stanford isn’t easy despite the Cardinal not being what they used to be a few years back. The Trojans may have just heated up the seat of David Shaw once again, shellacking the Cardinal on Saturday night from start to finish.
The Trojans had no trouble putting up points and moving the ball with ease against Stanford all night long. In fact, they had about 400 total yards in the first half of action with a 35-14 lead.
The game wasn’t very close for the remainder of the final two quarters as USC just ran away with its second straight blowout win to start the season.
Caleb Williams looked great again, Travis Dye exploded as the top running back, and Jordan Addison looked like a superstar. USC is back, folks.
