No. 6 Oklahoma at Nebraska (11 AM on Fox)

Coming off a loss to Georgia Southern, a fired head coach, and a deflated home crowd that probably feels like their season is in shambles, expect the Oklahoma Sooners to go into Lincoln and impose their will on the Cornhuskers. Sooners QB Dillon Gabriel has looked extremely well and mistake-free in his first two tune-up games of the 2022 season (70.6 CMP%, 5 TD, 0 INT).

Pick: Oklahoma -11.5

No. 12 BYU at No. 25 Oregon Ducks (2:30 PM on Fox)

I picked the higher-ranked, road underdog last week when then-ranked No. 9 Baylor traveled to Provo to face BYU. I’m not making that mistake again this week. Give me the lower-ranked home team on the moneyline this week. Oregon bounced back in spectacular fashion in Week 2 after a Week 1 thumping at the hands of Georgia.

Pick: Oregon -176

No. 22 Penn State at Auburn (2:30 PM on CBS)

A rematch from 2021 in which Penn State got an 8-point win over a ranked Auburn team. The Nittany Lions had to scrap and claw their way to a Week 1 win over Purdue but got some breathing room against Ohio last week.

Auburn has taken a step back this season and has experienced inconsistent play at QB from TJ Finley (1 TD, 3 INTs) through the first two games of the 2022 season. I trust Sean Clifford to play better than I do Finley in this game. Give me Penn State to cover, but I think they’ll win the game outright, on the road, and in a tough environment.

Pick: Penn State +3.5
