2. Lance Leipold (+500, 16 percent implied probability)

Some Nebraska football fans are feeling lukewarm about Matt Campbell. If so, they should be really worried about Lance Leipold.

Leipold has a similar resume to Campbell but it’s not as extensive. He went 37-34 coaching at Buffalo and is 4-10 at Kansas. Yet, he beat Texas last season and also improved to 2-0 this season. Going 2-2 in four Big 12 games might not seem like much, but this is Kansas.

Leipold would fit for a lot of reasons. He knows the Midwest and he understands how to rebuild a program. At Nebraska, he could do really well, but I have my doubts.

I also have a hard time seeing him leave Kansas after just two seasons. That being said, it’s Kansas football, so we have to expect Nebraska to win out.
