The BYU football team, fresh off an upset win over future conference foe Baylor, turns its attention to another ranked opponent, the No. 25 Oregon Ducks for a Week 3 matchup.

How many college football teams have lost by 46 points one week only to win by 56 points the following week? It’s tough to say, but you can count Oregon among the teams who have completed such an emphatic comeback.

The Ducks were embarrassed by defending national champions Georgia in Week 1 of college football by a score of 49-3. Oregon quickly put that loss behind them and got back to business in Week 2, fending off Eastern Washington 70-14 in Week 2.

Now, in Week 3 of college football, the No. 25 Ducks turn their attention to the BYU Cougars, who are ranked No. 12 in the country after earning an upset win over No. 9 Baylor last week.

This is going to be an extremely difficult game for Oregon, a team that’s enjoying a 20 home-game win streak at Autzen Stadium.

Most sports books have BYU as 3.5-point underdogs in this matchup vs Oregon, despite being ranked No. 12 in the latest AP Top 25 poll.

Let’s dive into why I think BYU has what it takes to get a ranked road win over the Oregon Ducks.
