Grant is running the ball as well as anyone in college football right now and he’ll get to showcase what he can do against the Sooners.
Unfortunately, he can’t play defense, and neither can Thompson, who threw for 388 yards and five touchdowns last season against the Sooners at Texas.
As bad as the defense is, Nebraska’s offense is light years better than Kent State and UTEP and it will take the Sooners a second to adjust. Yet, the Oklahoma front is dominant and while I think Grant will get close to 100, the Sooners will limit him to around 80 yards.

The Huskers are going to get up for this game and Memorial Stadium is going to be rocking. The fans love Mickey Joseph so far and they just want to see a big win. It feels like it has been years because it has.
However, it won’t happen on Saturday. Oklahoma is too good in the trenches and that will be the difference.
