College football fans were treated to yet another incredible day of action on Saturday as Week 3 is officially in the books.

The day got started with some sleepy blowouts between Georgia and South Carolina as well as Nebraska and Oklahoma. Both games were supposed to be fairly close, but Georgia and Oklahoma both rolled. The Bulldogs smacked the Gamecocks 48-7 and the Sooners went on the road to beat the Scott Frost-less Cornhuskers 49-14.

Kentucky, Baylor, and Michigan all took care of hapless opponents in the early slate as well and Notre Dame got back on track with a win over Cal at home, but it may be a while before we see the Fighting Irish back in the AP Top 25.

The early games were a snooze, though.

College football’s evening games were much more intriguing

There were a couple of good games in the 3:30 p.m. ET slate with Auburn hosting Penn State and the Nittany Lions had their way with the Tigers. Oregon also hosted a ranked opponent in BYU and the Ducks ran away from the Cougars from the start. Neither game was all that close.

Arkansas nearly lost to Missouri State but was able to go on a 21-0 run to end the game and win by 11 points and hold on for a 3-0 start.

There was a ton of action in the late games compared to the early ones and here’s what the AP Top 25 looks like.
