College Football Rankings 2022: Projected AP Top 25 for Week 4
Ohio State was able to put up a million points thanks to CJ Stroud going off and Kyle McCord coming in to pass for over 100 yards of his own.
Stroud was able to pass for 367 yards and five touchdowns with just five incompletions and the Buckeyes went on to beat Toledo by more than 50 points. You just don’t see scores like that nowadays, especially since the Rockets’ defense had been solid through the first two games against inferior opponents.
Emeka Egbuka continues to be a breakout receiver for the Buckeyes, catching seven passes for 116 yards and a touchdowns as they rolled to an easy win.
The Buckeyes were able to score nearly 80 points against the Rockets as they cruised to a nice non-conference victory.
Things should get tougher for Ohio State moving forward, but it looks like the offense is getting back on track. Stroud should be right back in that Heisman conversation after this win.
