The good news? The Huskers scored first. Then Oklahoma scored the next 49 as they routed Nebraska in Lincoln.

Nebraska needs a reset under interim coach Mickey Joseph. They will get a chance to regroup with a bye week coming up. After the off week, the Huskers get back to the Big Ten schedule as they host Indiana.

A low for Pat Fitzgerald and his Wildcats. They lost to Southern Illinois 31-24. The Salukis entered the game 0-2 with losses to Incarnate Word and Southeast Missouri State.

What did in Northwestern were the four turnovers. The Wildcats have an important one next week against Miami Ohio. If they do not bounce back, this season could get out of hand quickly.

The Hoosiers only like to win at the very end of games it seems. They scored a touchdown and two point conversion to tie the game against Western Kentucky with less than a minute to go. Then the Hoosiers won it in overtime on a 51 yard field goal.

How good is this Indiana team? They have already surpassed last year’s win total. But they have needed to pull out comebacks in all three of their victories. A win is a win and Hoosier fans will take it. Next week they travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bearcats.
