Lovin’ you has go to be (take me to the other side)
Like the devil and the deep blue sea (take me to the other side)
Forget about your foolish pride (take me to the other side)
Aw, take me to the other side (take me to the other side)

Welcome back to the Pac-12 Football Power Rankings headquarters below the mountains of the Rose Bowl and Rice-Eccles Stadium. The Big news of the conference is that Arizona State has made coach Herman Edwards the second coach to get fired this season. Edwards finished what was an underwhelming stint in the desert 26-20.

On the field, USC continues to look unstoppable offensively. The Washington Huskies and the #15 Oregon Ducks dominated quality opponents this past Saturday. The Huskies carved the #11 Michigan State Spartans at home, and the Ducks defeated the BYU Cougars in Eugene.

Conference play begins this weekend for Pac-12 football teams, and the Trojans, Ducks, and Huskies look genuine contenders. Oregon State, UCLA, and Washington State want to prove they are not pretenders. Wazzu has a chance to prove themselves when they host Oregon in Pullman.

So, to live mascots, the game, and three interstate rivalry games, here are the Pac-12 Football Power Rankings heading into week four.
