College Football Rankings 2022: Projected AP Top 25 for Week 5
Poor Graham Mertz. He had to go up against one of the best teams in the country and didn’t look particularly prepared for it.
This matchup with Wisconsin was over from the get-go. The score was 21-0 after the first quarter and 31-7 by halftime and Mertz was rattled. Ohio State did a fantastic job of shutting down that elite run game led by Braelon Allen as well and the Buckeyes controlled this game from start to finish.
CJ Stroud had a really good game outside of a pick and the running back duo of Miyan Williams and TreVeyon Henderson are really coming together nicely. This offense is starting to really take shape and heading into the heart of the Big Ten schedule, that’s great news.
And Ohio State is doing all of this dominating and scoring without Jaxon Smith-Njigba who has been sidelined with an injury — that’s crazy impressive.
