College Football Rankings 2022: Projected AP Top 25 for Week 5
I was ready to declare Oregon dead in the water when it trailed by two scores in the fourth quarter at Washington State, but the Ducks showed some grit late. Oregon was able to score 29 fourth-quarter points and win the game on the road.
Bo Nix gets a lot of hate but the dude was slinging the rock and looked great and he was clutch. He finished with 428 yards and three touchdowns and recovered nicely from an earlier pick-six. He was the calming presence that the Ducks needed when they were down late.
I think we’re going to see voters jump right back on the Oregon train after their win and push them into the top 10 after they began the season right around that area before getting throttled by Georgia.
Justifying NC State, Utah, or Penn State to make it in over them is tough to do so I think Dan Lanning’s team gets the nod after a tough win at Washington State.
What a roller coaster of a season it’s been for the Ducks.
