Did you know that Caleb Williams is actually human? I didn’t either until Saturday night as his Trojans struggled with Oregon State on the road.

#Pac12AfterDark is just a different beast and I think Lincoln Riley saw that firsthand in Week 4 as his Trojans had three points going into halftime despite having one of the most explosive offenses in the country.

Heck, through three quarters, all the Trojans could muster offensively were three points and that’s just not going to cut it at any level. Riley has to be upset with what he saw from his offense in its first real test of the season. He has a lot of work to do after this one.

Williams has to get back on track because the schedule isn’t going to get any easier moving forward but I do think that USC is the Pac-12’s best hope right now of making the playoff right along with Utah and Oregon — but we saw what happened with the Ducks and Georgia already.
