1. Devon Achane proved he can be an every-down back

Devon Achane has been doubted by many, myself included, in his ability to be an every down back. We all know how quick Achane is and how many game-changing plays he can make. We’ve seen it the last two years and through this season so far. However, many were missing Spiller and his every-down abilities.

That being said, Achane proved us all wrong on Saturday against the Razorbacks when he finished with 19 carries for 159 yards and a touchdown.

The biggest run of his is shown above, a 63-yard dash to set the Ages up to get their first touchdown on the board.

Will the Ags still let other running backs get their playing time in? Sure, but this showed that Achane can handle being the go-to guy on the ground for the Aggies this season.

I would like to publicly apologize for saying that he wasn’t ready to be that guy because man did he prove me wrong.
