4. Southern Miss at Tulane (-11.5)

Tulane was a group of five darling in Week 3 after the Green Wave knocked off Kansas State on the road by a score of 17-10. That got Tulane off to a 3-0 start and through three games, they allowed a total of 20 points.

Against Southern Miss, who lost to Miami and Liberty to start the season, Tulane jumped out to a 14-0 lead and it looked like the momentum would continue. Zach Wilcke answered and tossed two touchdowns for the Eagles, the second of which tied the game. After a field goal, Eric Scott returned an interception 34 yards to give Southern Miss a 10-point advantage.

The Eagles won by three and new head coach Will Hall, who was 3-9 last season, has Southern miss at 2-2. If you count the wins from the end of last season, Southern Miss has won four of six.

Tulane’s hope of crashing the New Year’s six-party also ended, which is why this is No. 4.
