Alabama Football: Crimson Tide Roll against #20 Arkansas on the road
By Dante Pryor
3. Sometimes, you have to find a way when adversity strikes.
Alabama head coach Nick Saban was a tad salty after the game, wanting to talk about the players on the field rather than about Bryce Young. It was apparent the Crimson Tide were deflated after Young went out. Backup quarterback Jalen Milroe did not look overwhelmed by the moment. Arkansas got back into the game, but that did not phase Milroe.
There were some miscues, like the bad snap on the punt and some costly defensive penalties. However, Alabama collected themselves and dominated the fourth quarter. The Crimson Tide scored three touchdowns after getting shut out in the third quarter. The defense shut down KJ Jefferson and the Arkansas offense.
The fourth quarter of this game showed why the Crimson Tide is a championship-caliber team. Alabama picked itself off the mat when they could have let Arkansas take the game over. Not only did the Crimson Tide pick themselves up, but they scored with three explosive plays in the final frame.
We probably won’t know how much time Young will miss, but they will be okay if they come together as they did in the fourth quarter this afternoon.
