Things weren’t looking great for Alabama on Saturday as the second half was progressing, but the five-point lead was quickly extended and the Tide pulled away from Arkansas to pick up a massive road win.

People weren’t really sure what to make of the Tide after they struggled earlier in the season at Texas, but this was a nice statement win for Nick Saban’s team.

Bryce Young suffered a scary injury in this one but came back and it’s clear that he’s as valuable to this team as any quarterback in the country. Alabama held a 28-7 halftime lead and then gave up 16 straight points in the third quarter before pulling away and winning 49-26.

Road wins in the SEC aren’t easy to come by and the Tide should take this one and move on especially with Young injured. Let’s hope he’s OK.

Jahmyr Gibbs had his breakout game, however, and rushed for over 200 yards and two touchdowns on just 18 carries. He also had two catches for 20 yards.

Huge win for Alabama.
