Missouri scored the first points on Saturday night against Missouri and there were probably some college football fans raising an eyebrow. Could this be that trap game that will trip the Bulldogs up?

I mean, after an ugly showing at home against Kent State the week earlier, it wouldn’t be that crazy to think.

But no, the Tigers honestly felt like they were about to give up the lead at any moment. You have to give it up to Missouri for making this one close and holding a 10-point lead in the second half, but Georgia just asserted its dominance and came away with a 26-22 win on the road.

Maybe the Bulldogs aren’t as invincible as we thought or maybe this was just an off week. Either way, a win’s a win.

Will Alabama get more first-place votes this week after picking up a ranked road win? Probably, but Georgia will remain No. 1.
