Clemson is fresh off a huge ranked road win and NC State is undefeated to begin the year. Both are ranked in the top 10 in Week 5, so what better matchup for College GameDay to feature?

Both teams are playing for an ACC title and the right to represent the conference in the College Football Playoff. For NC State, it would be the first playoff appearance in school history and for Clemson, it would be the first since 2020.

The atmosphere will be buzzing as Clemson fans are believing in national titles again after a “down” 10-win season in 2021. Dabo Swinney has the Tigers at 4-0 so far and DJ Uiagalelei looks like one of the most improved players in the country.

On the flip side, Devin Leary has led the Wolfpack to a 4-0 start and a No. 10 ranking and there’s hope at NC State that this could be the year it upends Clemson.

Before that can all happen, College GameDay will be in town to host its weekly show and feature a Clemson legend as its celebrity guest picker.
