Florida State football: 3 reasons the Seminoles will beat Wake Forest
Don’t look now but Florida State football is 4-0 and ranked No. 23 in the AP Top 25 for the first time since 2018.
Not long ago, we were talking about how warm that hot seat was for head coach Mike Norvell, now here we are his Seminoles looking like they could push Clemson for ACC superiority this season.
Florida State’s momentum will be tested this weekend when they host QB Sam Hartman and the No. 22 Wake Forest Demon Deacons at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee. Let’s take a look at three reasons why you should expect the Noles to get a tough win over Wake Forest this week.
1. Seminoles will be fired up to compete in front of home crowd
Patience has finally paid off for Florida State football fans, as the Seminoles will be competing at home as a ranked team for the first time in nearly half a decade.
Despite the state of Florida being ravaged by Hurricane Ian, there’s a decent chance this will be an excited crowd. FSU Director of Athletics Michael Alford released a statement on Thursday inviting in-state evacuees to come to Doak Campbell Stadium to watch this ball game for free.
Football brings people together and this difficult time for Floridians is no exception. Fans that are able to be there in attendance will be loud and proud of the Noles as they take on Wake Forest.
