3. No. 18 Oklahoma (-5) at TCU

Sonny Dykes has gotten off to a really good start with TCU and that went to an entirely new level over the weekend when the Horned Frogs trounced Oklahoma 55-24.

Sooners’ QB Dillon Gabriel was knocked out of the game and that was pretty much all she wrote for the Oklahoma offense. Yet, the Horned Frogs jumped on Oklahoma from the start.

Max Duggan threw two touchdowns in the first quarter, one of which covered a distance of 73 yards in addition to running 67 yards for a touchdown.

It was a breakout performance for Duggan who was 23-of-33 passing for 302 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran five times for 116 yards and after facing Adrian Martinez, you’d think Oklahoma would be ready.

They weren’t and the game really wasn’t all that competitive. That’s why College Gameday is headed to Lawrence this week because that’s where TCU will play this weekend and it’s the Horned Frogs, not the Sooners that will play in a ranked vs ranked matchup (against Kansas).
