Rose Bowl

Oregon v Michigan

Previous: Washington v Michigan

We have another projected change in the 109th Rose Bowl Game.

The Huskies’ stay lasted only one week, as they were upset by UCLA. They’re still on the up, but the rise and play by the Oregon Ducks get them back to Pasadena.

Ever since their brutal beat down to Georgia, the Ducks have overwhelmed their opponents. With a dominant win against ranked BYU and a tough road win over a really underrated Washington State team, the Ducks have their remaining big-time games all at home at the Zoo.

It may be an unusual journey, but we’re projecting Bo Nix at the Rose Bowl!

Michigan had their second real test of the year against Iowa, an old house of horrors for the Wolverines, and survived 27-14.

The defense took advantage of an inept Hawkeye offense and improved from the previous week’s struggle against Maryland. Offensively, we may need to start talking about running back Blake Corum making a Heisman push. So far on the year, he’s got 661 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns already. Keep up that touchdown pace and he’ll be in New York.

I still like Michigan, but they have their work cut out for them. In two weeks, they host Penn State in what could essentially be a CFP eliminator game.

Here, we are projecting the Wolverines to fall short in the Big Game, but make their way to the Rose Bowl. Does Harbaugh finally get the big bowl win, or does Oregon finish strong?
