5. QB Will Levis shows why he’s the front-runner for No. 1 pick in 2023 NFL Draft

Kentucky QB Will Levis looks like the complete package in terms of NFL prospect. He’s got the size, intellect, and skill to be a game-changer. He’s going to put all of his gifts on display when the Wildcats host South Carolina for an SEC-East showdown.

In fact, he’s going to showcase why he’s the likely No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft this week. The 6’3″ Connecticut native has thrown for more than 1,400 yards so far this season while maintaining a nearly 70% completion rate. Imagine what he could do if he had a decent offensive line that could protect him a little better. He’s been sacked more than any other SEC football player this season— 19 times. The next highest player is LSU’s Jayden Daniels, who’s been sacked 15 times.

Levis has excelled at throwing the long ball this season. He’s had at least one passing play of 50+ yards in all but one game this season. Expect him to carve up the Gamecocks’ defense, who’s given up an average of 46 points per game to SEC teams this season.

Prediction: Kentucky 38, South Carolina 23
