College Football Week 6 has plenty of juicy matchups but we separate out the top five and offer our predictions against the spread.

College football fans should be excited for this Saturday as a number of marquee matchups are on the slate for College Football Week 6.

In a surprise move, one of those games is taking place in Lawrence, Kansas. The 19th-ranked Jayhawks will host 16th-ranked TCU and two teams that weren’t supposed to be ranked or undefeated at this point will be featured on College Gameday.

Considering this is the weekend of Alabama and Texas A&M, it tells you something about the state of the Aggies season. They have now suffered two losses, although just one in the SEC but short of an upset Saturday, Jimbo Fisher’s seat is about to get really, really hot.

Still, the Aggies and Alabama are one of the marquee games of College Football Week 6. At least in my opinion. The others that we’ll predict are Tennessee-LSU, UCLA-Utah, and TCU-Kansas, which are all top-25 matchups. The other is Notre Dame football against BYU.

We start our predictions with one of the intriguing matchups at in the early time window between the upstart Tennessee Volunteers and the LSU Tigers.

Odds are via Draftkings and are subject to change.

This matchup features two of the best quarterbacks in the SEC. Hendon Hooker is squarely in the mix for the Heisman Trophy, while Jayden Daniels is one of the most overlooked college football players in the country.

Daniels hasn’t been spectacular throwing the ball with just 915 yards total but he’s got six touchdown passes and hasn’t thrown an interception. Beyond that, he’s averaging 64 yards per game and that running ability has been a big help to the Tiger offense.

Both teams have done a great job of forcing turnovers and taking care of the ball. This game feels like it will come down to the quarterback play and I trust Hooker, even on the road, more than Daniels and he’ll be the difference in a close game.
