No. 16 TCU (-6.5) at  No. 19 Kansas (12 EST, Fox Sports 1)

There’s no better story in all of college football than the 5-0 Kansas Jayhawks. What Lance Leipold has done this season is incredible. Some might have forgotten how Kansas was before he showed up but they easily had the worst Power-5 program at the time.

Jalon Daniels has been a star for the Jayhawks but the offense has shown signs of slowing down the last two weeks after big showings against West Virginia and Houston.

The Kansas running game has given teams fits all season long with Devin Neal and Daniel Hishaw but the problem is that TCU has a stout running game too. The Horned Frogs average seven yards per attempt while allowing just 3.4.

Kansas is for real and they are a team to pay attention to in the Big 12, but TCU is the best team Kansas has faced and the Horned Frogs are for real. Max Duggan against Daniels will be fun to watch, but it’s hard to bet against Duggan after his domination of Oklahoma last week. He threw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns and also had a 67-yard touchdown run.

Duggan will be the difference in the win, which is why TCU will win the game. However, in this pick against the spread, which is 6.5, I’m giving the edge to the Jayhawks.

Score: TCU 34, Kansas 31
