College Football Rankings 2022: Projected AP Top 25 for Week 7
I didn’t have “Georgia tied with Auburn after a quarter” on my Week 6 bingo card, but if you did, you were a big winner.
Unfortunately for Auburn, it didn’t stay that way as Georgia took a 14-0 lead into the half and never looked back.
Georgia out-scored the Tigers 28-10 in the second half and ran away with a 42-10 win at home. No one expected this game to be close and it really wasn’t but was it good enough to take that No. 1 spot back after relinquishing to Alabama last week? I’m not so sure.
Honestly, nothing would surprise me anymore, but I think it’s going to be a toss-up between these two. I don’t think Georgia should have ever been moved down to No. 2 in the first place, but I’m not sure beating a bad Auburn team is enough to sway AP voters.
