Loser: Memphis Tigers

The Memphis Tigers hosted AAC foe Houston for a Friday night showdown during Week 6 and had firm control of the game through the start of the fourth quarter when they enjoyed a 26-7 lead.

However, Houston proceeded to rattle off 26 in the fourth quarter, including 14 unanswered points in the final 1:17 of the game. It was a collapse of epic proportions for a Tigers team that appeared to be primed for a serious run at the AAC championship this season. But, with a performance like this, against a team struggling to survive, that now seems unlikely.

Loser: Missouri Tigers

Congratulations, Missouri! You are now the worst team in the SEC. Vanderbilt should send a nice gift basket to Eli Drinkwitz to celebrate his race to the bottom. Mizzou is the only SEC football team with just two wins so far this season, creating a ripple effect of problems for the Tigers.

Not only does it look bad on the field, but it’s also going to make recruiting even more difficult. With games against Kentucky and Tennessee still remaining on the schedule, it doesn’t look like the Missouri Tigers are going bowling this year. They’d have to go 4-2 the rest of the way and five of their opponents are from the SEC.

Will this mark the beginning of the end for Drinkwitz at Mizzou?
