Texas A&M football played its heart out in Tuscaloosa Saturday night, but they are going home losers after a last-second effort fell short and now things are as confusing as ever in College Station.

It’s obvious that this team has the ability to play with the big dogs, but it is also obvious that they have the ability to fall to the not-so-big dogs.

What did this game teach us about the Aggies?

3. It’s time to get a real offensive coordinator

Jimbo Fisher prides himself on his play-calling and offensive abilities. However, it is time to let someone else take the reigns and call plays for this offense.

The offense looked inept for much of the game and if it wasn’t for the defense forcing turnovers to give the offense a short field, this could have been ugly. It is simply time for Jimbo to let it all go and give it to someone who can take this offense to the next level.

Just look at the last play call, there are a million different ways that could have gone that would have likely worked. Just like Manziel said, what they went with wasn’t the best choice, that much is for sure.
