Texas A&M Football: 3 takeaways from heartbreaking loss to Alabama

2. Evan Stewart and Fadil Diggs are going to be special for this team

Two guys really stood out for the Aggies this week: Evan Stewart and Fadil Diggs.

Evan Stewart had eight catches for 106 yards and each and every one of those catches counted for something big. None were touchdowns as Moose Muhammad and Donovan Green had those — both of which could also fit in this category — but they were big conversions and him just going all out to make plays, one of which can be seen below.

The other big name in this game was Fadil Diggs. He finished with some big numbers, but none bigger than the two fumbles he forced, both of which the Aggies scored off of. The sophomore defensive end was all over the field making big play after big play and he should be celebrated for that. Game ball for Diggs for sure.
