4. #20 Utah Utes (4-2, 2-1)

The UCLA Bruins thoroughly outclassed the Utes in their 42-32 loss in the Rose Bowl. The secondary play in the game is a massive cause for concern because Utah travels to the Colosseum to play the Trojans next weekend. It is uncharacteristic for a Utah defense to be weak in the secondary and pass rush.

3. #12 Oregon Ducks (5-1, 3-0)

The Ducks have looked good after their embarrassing loss to #1 Georgia in the season opener. Quarterback Bo Nix has been consistent and has not made the critical mistake he’s infamous for making. The offense looks good, and the defense has been improved. Both will be tested against #11 UCLA on Oct 22.

2. #7 USC Trojans (6-0, 4-0)

The last three games have not been pretty for Lincoln Riley and the Trojans, but sometimes you must survive and advance. One positive from the previous three games is how well the defense has played. The defense has played good football all season, including being one of the best in the country at forcing turnovers. They’ll need to do just that against #20 Utah.

1. #11 UCLA Bruins (6-0, 3-0)

The Bruins are a good football team. Head coach Chip Kelly has the Bruins playing some of the best football in the country. Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Zach Charbonnet are a nightmare in the backfield at the mesh point. After the close win against South Alabama, it did not seem that way, but the Bruins have defeated two of the better teams on its schedule (Washington and Utah). They are off this week ahead of their game against #12 Oregon.
