The only thing going right for Northwestern right now is the look into the future of their updated stadium. The Wildcats were demolished by Wisconsin 42-7.

This is a really bad Northwestern team and proves that last year was no anomaly. Likely Pat Fitzgerald’s job is safe but he has his work cut out for him trying to get the program back on track. The Wildcats have a bye week next before returning to action at Maryland in two weeks.

The Hoosiers hung tough with Michigan for about three quarters. But ultimately they were done in by not being able to move the ball when needed.

Indiana only accumulated 222 yards total, most of the yardage coming on the arm of Connor Bazelak. But the Hoosiers could not establish much of a running game and Michigan’s defense eventually wore down on the Hoosiers. Indiana hosts Maryland next week.

Rutgers faced off against Nebraska Friday night at home and for the first half, things were going alright. The Scarlet Knights had a 13-0 lead at the break.

In the second half though things went south and the Knights ended up losing the game by one point. Three turnovers and nine penalties totaling nearly 100 yards doomed Rutgers. Mistakes are just killers when you have a limited offense. The Knights have an off week before hosting Indiana in two weeks.
