College GameDay is making a pitstop in Knoxville this weekend for one of the biggest games of the season thus far.

No. 6 Tennessee is hosting No. 3 Alabama in what can be considered a playoff elimination game, of sorts. Of course, both teams could still make a playoff push if they lose, but it’s not easy to win out in the SEC and that’s what would need to happen.

The atmosphere in Knoxville for one of the biggest games at Neyland Stadium in decades is going to be electric. You can expect a classic SEC battle here.

Before that happens, however, GameDay will host its annual show at 9 a.m. ET and it’ll end with a celebrity guest picker stealing the spotlight.

It’s always best when the guest picker has ties to the hosting university and is entertaining. Thankfully, GameDay knocked it out of the park with this week’s pick.

Who’s the College GameDay guest picker this week?

Peyton Manning will look to bring some good mojo to College GameDay and Knoxville as the Volunteers are looking to finally beat Nick Saban (they’re 0-15 against him).

The former Tennessee quarterback and NFL legend is one of the best personalities in sports and even hosts Monday Night Football with his brother Eli every week. So he’s good on TV and won’t have a problem making things entertaining on Saturday morning.

It’s also fitting that he’ll be there for this game because the quarterback battle between Alabama and Tennessee will be legendary if Bryce Young is able to play.

This is going to be a fun show that you won’t want to miss.
