Oklahoma State is going to drop out of the top 10 after a heartbreaking loss in Fort Worth against TCU. The Cowboys seemed to have the game in the bag, up a couple of scores late, but TCU stormed back to send the game into overtime and they just had all the momentum. Season’s not over for Oklahoma State, though, and the Cowboys shouldn’t drop a ton.

Wake Forest was one of the handful of AP Top 25 teams that had a bye this week and I think they stay just outside of the top 10. This team is different with a healthy Sam Hartman, though.

USC played the last ranked game of the night as the Trojans were trying to hold No. 20 Utah off in a thriller. The Trojans led for most of the game and it felt like they were just going to steal one, but Utah wasn’t going away easily and fought back to take a lead in the fourth after a touchdown and two-point conversion. USC is still really, really good but it will no longer be in the top 10.

Dino Babers was dead in the water and then the 2022 season started. He has completely saved his job with a 6-0 start to the year and his team will jump into the top 15. If you saw this coming, you should probably start gambling more because you’re the only one. I hate to say it, but buy stock in Syracuse now.

We’ll see Utah jump quite drastically after beating an undefeated and top-10 ranked USC team in Salt Lake City. Cameron Rising and the Utes fell behind by two scores but didn’t relent and came away with a clutch one-point home win. This team is better than its record and will flirt with that top 10 again soon.
