Oregon got to sit back as the rest of the Pac-12 beat up on each other this week and the Ducks will head into Week 8 as the second-highest-ranked team in the conference.

Watching USC lose was shocking but the Ducks will take it as they’ll now climb into the top 10 because of it and they’ll be behind only UCLA in the conference.

Dan Lanning has done a heck of a job with Oregon in a short period of time and it looks like the Ducks won this coaching carousel as Miami is on the downward trend with Mario Cristobal in charge.

Bo Nix continues to prove doubters wrong and he’s probably right up there with Clemson’s DJ Uiagalelei as one of the most improved players in all of college football. The change of scenery has done him well.

Oregon will have to buckle down because things won’t get much easier for the Ducks.
