No.  24 Mississippi State at No. 6 Alabama football (-21)

No college football team wants to face Nick Saban and Alabama football one week after a loss but that’s the task of the Bulldogs this week. Rogers has been spectacular and has 23 touchdown passes compared to just four interceptions. He also ranks 42nd in QBR according to ESPN.

However, the Crimson Tide have won each of the last four meetings by 31 points, including a 49-9 romp last year in Starkville.

Rogers has also struggled mightily against the Crimson Tide and in 92 pass attempts, he has zero touchdown passes and five interceptions. Alabama football has a really good front seven and the best pass-rushing tandem in college football for my money in Will Anderson and Dallas Turner, so I don’t see Rogers figuring about the Crimson Tide.

Bryce Young will also continue to re-emerge in the Heisman conversation with a 300-yard game and three or four touchdowns.

Score: Alabama 41, Mississippi State 14
