College Football Rankings 2022: Projected AP Top 25 for Week 9
Folks, Oklahoma State made a statement on Saturday afternoon.
Although it was a win at home against Texas, the Cowboys were still considered underdogs heading into the game. Spencer Sanders was a game-time decision ahead of the game so that definitely played into the underdog role, but he came out and played well enough to lead the Cowboys to a big win.
This was the perfect opportunity to show the country that they were for real despite a loss to TCU last week in meltdown fashion.
And they delivered.
Down by 10 in the second half, Oklahoma State battled back and took a 41-34 lead and never looked back. They pressured Quinn Ewers all game long and were the first team this season to make him look human.
Oklahoma State is going to jump back into the top 10 this week and potentially up to the 8-9 range.
This was a great win.
