Max Duggan and TCU just do not quit. Down at home at halftime against a really solid Kansas State team, the Horned Frogs battled back and took a lead in the third quarter.

After finally taking a lead in the third quarter, the Horned Frogs picked off Kansas State on the ensuing drive and really took command of the game.

I honestly never thought TCU would be in this position after the halfway mark of the 2022 season, but the Horned Frogs have thrived in the post-Gary Patterson era. Who would have thought that would happen? Not me.

I love what Duggan has done this season and the Horned Frogs have been the biggest surprise in the Big 12 and we have to honestly start talking about them as a legitimate College Football Playoff candidate.

I can’t believe I’m even saying that.

TCU is a legit playoff threat.
