Texas A&M football finally lost to South Carolina and it would seem that the season is lost for the Aggies. What did we learn about the Maroon and White?

After this loss to South Carolina, it would seem that the season is lost for the Aggies. Even with a chance to win in the final ten seconds after a successful onside kick, losing to a team you have never lost to before hurts. The Aggies had every chance in the world to win this game and didn’t take advantage of them and as a result are sitting at 3-4, looking at the possibility of not making a bowl game. What did we learn about the Aggies here? Is there any bright side to what has been a season of depression, heartbreak, and failure in the face of high expectations?

3. Time for a new offensive line coach.

Texas A&M football had eight false starts against South Carolina. Eight. That is not what a strong and competent offensive line does. I understand that there are injuries across the line and there is a bunch of freshman playing, but these are talented guys that can do better, who can be better.

Getting better starts with a new offensive line coach. This group was atop the world not too long ago and now, between guys leaving for the NFL and Coach Henson leaving, things have gone downhill. The new coach, Steve Addazio, has been a failed experiment and it is time to find a new coach to bring the Maroon Goons back.

It is also time for a new offensive coordinator that actually is allowed to run his own offense, but that is a different argument for a different day.
