1. Audric Estime

Coming into the game Notre Dame football knew what it had to do on offense. The Irish had to run the ball efficiently to come out with a victory. Offensive Coordinator Tommy Rees did a good job of making sure his backs had a big say in the outcome.

We already mentioned Diggs in the last slide, but Audric Estime had a great game. Estime ran for 123 yards on 20 rushes. He also had two rushing touchdowns as well. This was Estime’s second game passing the 100-yard mark on the ground. He also is the leader for rushing touchdowns scoring 8 on the season up to this point.

Estime is such a big physical runner that really seems to love making contact with defenders on his runs. He is the type of running back who embraces physical contact. There have been times when he has struggled with fumbling the ball, but as he matures more in his Irish career he will be even better than he already is at the moment.

Notre Dame returns home next Saturday to take on the Clemson Tigers under the lights at Notre Dame Stadium. The last time the Tigers came to South Bend they left with a loss. Can it happen again? We will have to wait until next week to find out.
